I'm getting together tomorrow night for a crop at a friend's house. This is something that we just recently started to do, and its always LOTS of fun. More and more girls are wanting to join us...The more the merrier I say...the more to make fun of i also say...
I was in charge of coming up with a project. I decided to jump on the paperbag bandwagon. And it was sooooooooooooo much fun. I had a blast. Stayed up until 1 am making this bad boy...The part that sucks is adding the paper, inking it, and then adding the pictures. Then comes all the fun stuff! I saved sooo much stuff from our trip. Receipts, scratch offs, valet parking tickets, cards from the casino, etc. There are lots of little extras in the little pockets. I just need to journal. Sean is going to do half of it.
Speaking of Sean, when I showed him this last night...he was BLOWN AWAY. He has always understood, appreciated, admired, supported this crazy scrapbooking thing. Always reads my journaling (always finds an error too...but thats ok) he always gives me mad compliments...Like the other night when I did Bing's Luau pages, I left them on my desk when I got done with them and when I woke up the next morning he had left me a note on the dry erase board on the fridge...that said...Your pages look AWESOME sweetie! I love you! Just a thoughtful dude. Words cannot express how grateful I am that he appreciates me. When he saw this book, he was jus in awe. He kept saying..."I am so glad you do this"..."I appreciate this so much" "I want this to be in our family for years and years and years" Made it sooo worth it.
Tomorrow night at the crop I will make Jude's first year album with this same formula. It should be alot of fun. I think the girls will have lots of fun making their own too.
I can't do a cool little collage type post so...here it is. Also...there is like 6 more pages to it, but I didn't want to bombard ya. (If you really want to see them let me know, and I know my girls Amber and KeRRy are probably pissed I didn't journal first...)

This book is frickin awesome!!! I love mini/altered books, just creating the whole thing from scratch. This is fantabulous!!

OMG this thing is awesome!!! i don't think i've ever seen an album made out of paper bags. that's pretty cool! you got your pics, stuff tucked inside, man this thing is freakin genius!!
